H2 Invest successfully premiered its CryoSafe-42 container tank for hydrogen transportation and storage at the ADIPEC international energy exhibition held in Abu Dhabi from November 4 to 7, 2024.
A delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, led by Deputy Minister Mikhail Ivanov and with the participation of the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the UAE, Andrey Terekhin, attended the opening of H2 Invest’s stand.
The CryoSafe-42 container tank, designed for safe hydrogen transportation, completed its first multimodal journey: it was transported by semi-trailer container truck, then by rail on a fitting platform, and finally by a container vessel to the United Arab Emirates. The next step will demonstrate its unique no-drain storage period (over 30 days) with zero loss during transport over distances up to 15,000 km.
At the exhibition, successful negotiations were held with leading energy companies of the Middle Eastern region, including ADNOC, Masdar, Saudi Aramco, and Saudi Diesel, as well as representatives from China, India, South Korea, Indonesia, South Africa, Iran, and other countries. As a result, agreements were reached and several memorandums of understanding were signed.
During the Russian Technology Day conference held at ADIPEC, H2 Invest’s Deputy CEO, Victor Medvedev, presented a report on the advanced CryoSafe-42 technology, previously awarded the BRICS Solutions Award in the "New Industry and Energy" category. The container tank was highly praised by experts for its potential in developing infrastructure for safe and efficient hydrogen transportation.
Participants of the Strategic Hydrogen Conference at the exhibition emphasized the global awareness of the need to overcome infrastructure barriers for hydrogen project implementation. CryoSafe-42 represents a significant step towards developing supply chains for clean hydrogen to meet global market demand.
H2 Invest CEO Anton Kovalevsky commented: "Russian technologies play a key role in shaping the new global hydrogen industry. We are proud that CryoSafe-42 represents our country on the international stage, showcasing the cutting-edge capabilities of Russian developments for a sustainable future and energy security."
H2 Invest will continue to expand international cooperation and implement technologies aimed at addressing environmental and energy challenges.
